OUR 1ST CREATION

So we basically make our own clothes now...

No, but really. We went on a journey to Savers and found these hidden treasures.

We know. Not much to look at. Just you wait, Henry Higgins.

Step 1: Remove sleeves.
Step2: Trim to fit the back piece.
Step 3: Endless hours of sewing that said piece to the back.
Step 4: More sewing of lace and studs to the front pocket and collar.
Step 5: Trim the vest to be shorter... Insert slight mishap. Which led to step 6.
Step 6: Add lace around the bottom for extra length.

The whole process took 2 days.  We're stoked about the outcome & it only cost us $12!

GIVE ME A BRARK

If you haven't already seen The Kroll Show you should probably get on it. It's absolutely redonkulous. Wednesday nights at 10:30 pm. That will be all.

LET GO OF ANYTHING THAT IS NO LONGER SERVING YOU.

It all started with Groupon. 10 classes for 25 dollars at Vegas Hot! Why not, right?

Best. Decision. Of. Our. Lives. They have so many classes to offer and we want to try them all. So far, we've tried three. Venus, Pilates, and Yin.

In Venus, the room is 100 degrees and is an hour long class. Its a faster paced yoga class but is also completely relaxing.  It is technically an intermediate class but all of the poses have moderations so that beginners can also enjoy it.  It focuses mainly on controlling the breath.  By the far the class that makes us feel the most accomplished.

In Pilates, the room is 95 degrees and is a 75 minute class. It combines Pilates moves with yoga poses. Pretty much hell, but we felt so great afterwards. Also, our instructor has interesting taste in music, which we enjoy.

Yin is in a 100 degree room and is normally 90 minutes long. This week we took an hour class and loved every minute! This class includes slow, passive stretching.  It focuses on flexibility, stretching connective tissues and developing the ability to still the mind.  We held one pose called Pigeon for a good 5 minutes.. needless to say.. ouch.  The instructor kept repeating a phrase: "Let go of anything that is no longer serving you."  LOVE.  So true, letting go of things that are no longer conducive to a happy life is something to strive for.  Its safe to say, this is our favorite class.

Overall, this place is amazing. The people are lovely, and it just feels like there is no judgment or hate in the atmosphere. Its all about a happy, healthy lifestyle.
